The first risk factor of colon cancer is being alive and having a colon, the first risk factor of stomach cancer is being alive and having a stomach, that’s why males never develop ovarian cancer and females never develop testicles cancer. these cases aside , everyone is at risk.
Yesterday , a lunar eclipse covered pretty much all the arab land , to be honest I don’t think it’s as impressive as a solar eclipse but these two phenomenons are really anticipated because they rarely happen , and there’s this french proverb :”la rareté fait le prix” which means rarity determines the price , still this is economics 101 but I think it should be applied to all life aspects .
Just like how the kid bought an hour of his father’s time in my last post , I think that time is a currency that we all earn the same amount of it each day , this currency can be exchanged , traded and even wasted or burned , for example , when you read for and hour , you have actually traded that hour for an equivalent amount of knowledge , noting that this amount is not the same for each person , and that is efficiency , let’s just call it bartending skill for each “product” which is in this case knowledge , another example is sleeping for eight hours ! you exchanged 8 hours for rest and for relieving stress , efficiency also plays its game his , in this case we are talking about base metabolism , sleep habits …etc , sleeping for eight hours will not provide the same amount of rest for everyone.
Just as I said before , this currency like any others can be wasted or burned , and a mentally stable man will not burn his wallet ! and almost everybody tries not to waste money on stuff they don’t need , so why not everybody doesn’t want to be the same with this “universal currency” !
A man came home from work late again, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year-old son waiting for him at the door.
“Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
“Yeah, sure, what is it?” replied the man.
“Daddy, how much money do you make an hour?
“That’s none of your business! What makes you ask such a thing?” the man said angrily.
“I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?” pleaded the little boy.
“If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour.”
“Oh,” the little boy replied, head bowed. Looking up, he said, “Daddy, may I borrow $10.00 please?”
The father was furious. “If the only reason you wanted to know how much money I make is just so you can borrow some to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. I work long, hard hours everyday and don’t have time for such childish games.”
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even madder about the little boy’s questioning. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think he may have been a little hard on his son. Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00, and he really didn’t ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy’s room and opened the door.
“Are you asleep son?” he asked.
“No daddy, I’m awake,” replied the boy.
“I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier,” said the man. “It’s been a long day and I took my aggravation out on you. Here’s that $10.00 you asked for.”
The little boy sat straight up, beaming. “Oh, thank you daddy!” he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow, he pulled out some more crumpled up bills.
The man, seeing that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, then looked up at the man.
“Why did you want more money if you already had some?” the father grumbled.
“Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do,” the little boy replied.
“Daddy, I have $20.00 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?”
so my cousin has been diagnosed with autism , his case is not very bad but it made his parents upset nevertheless , that’s one of the reasons you see that autism widget on the right hand side , I hope researchers will uncover more of this case’s secrets
well , yeah if you think so , be my guest , lacking affection in my opinion is better than lacking intelligence , handsomeness or giftedness , no one is perfect , no one is ! If someone lacks anything and is living normally , that means he has a substitute to what he lacks , in the case of affection , the substitute is wickedness ; and I hope I’m wicked enough to not be considered and idiot in social interactions in our modern society ; once again , I am who I am , and I love who I am.
I am who I am , I am what I am , and I love who and what I am.
If I try to change who I am then I’ll hate who I am : trying to change who I am will drive me to hate who I am , So I will not try to change who I am as long as I Love who I am.
If I want to change who I am then I already hate who I am : and If I’m hating who I am I must change who I am , I should then take a pause and think how I’d like to be and start changing who I currently am to who I’d like to be.
I wrote this poem ( In Arabic ) and I entitled it : ” The leaders of Arabs” instead of saying “Arab leaders” because those leaders are practically neither Arab nor Muslims ;
